PURPOSE: A solar battery and manufacturing method thereof are provided to dope cadmium on a light absorbing layer, thereby increasing the performance of the solar battery. CONSTITUTION: A rear electrode layer(200) is formed on a support substrate. A light absorbing layer(300) is arranged on the rear electrode layer. Cadmium is doped on the light absorbing layer. A buffer layer directly contacts the light absorbing layer and includes elements except cadmium. A window layer(600) is formed on the buffer layer. The light absorbing layer comprises I-III-VI compounds. |
