PURPOSE: A method for providing a bookmark widget service and a server thereof are provided to enable a user to use a service page providing a bookmark widget server anytime by additionally managing and storing the bookmark information without subordination to a specific web service. CONSTITUTION: The bookmark information(52,62) registered by a user is included in a service page(210). In addition, the bookmark information is included in widgets(50,60) which perform a specific function. Furthermore, the bookmark information a text and a first web page address in an embedded link format, wherein the text has specific information corresponding to the first web page. If the user selects the widgets, the widgets connect a web client to a web page corresponding to the bookmark information. The web client corresponds to a browser. |
