摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an exhaustion of a battery in a vehicle security system. <P>SOLUTION: A security device 50 in a security system 1 includes a detecting unit 51 for operating in a standby mode of the device and for detecting an occurrence of failure of the vehicle, and a driving circuit 52 for executing a prescribed preventive action that prevents a damage to the vehicle from increasing when the detecting unit 51 detects the occurrence of failure. A main battery 40 supplies electric power to the driving circuit 52, while a sub battery 30 supplies electric power to the detecting unit 51 in the standby mode. In the standby mode, the sub battery 30 supplies electric power to the detecting unit 51, and the main battery 40 only supplies electric power to the driving circuit 52, thereby, the main battery 40 can be prevented from exhausting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
