<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a mechanism for improving an operation of a ship ramp that is driven by an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a method and a mechanism for operating a ramp 10 of a ship driven by an electric motor 30 between its upper end position and its lower end position, wherein the mechanism includes an implement 40 for reducing the maximum torque of at least one electric motor 30 when the ramp 10 is positioned near its end position, an implement 40 for determining the position of the ramp 10 on the basis of the number of revolutions of at least one electric motor 30 or an amount indicating the number of revolutions or an elapsed time and its speed, and an implement 40 enabling the maximum torque of at least one electric motor 30 to be decreased only when the determined position of the ramp 10 is placed within a zone defined by a predetermined range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
