<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed occupancy state detection method by which a detection accuracy of movements of a subject for raising his or her upper body can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: The bed occupancy state detection method using a device 10 includes: a load detection process in which the load on the left side of the head and the right side of the head of a bed 31 is detected respectively as a left head side load and a right head side load with a predetermined period; a first determination process in which it is determined whether a predetermined first determination formula (1) is satisfied or not; a second determination process in which it is determined whether a predetermined second A determination formula (2A) and a second B determination formula (2B) are both satisfied or not; and an annunciation process in which a warning is issued when the first determination formula (1) is satisfied and the second A determination formula (2A) and the second B determination formula (2B) are both satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
