PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect a faulty band in a state that a cumulated body and the band are gripped. SOLUTION: Disclosed is an inspection apparatus for a sheet group in which a band film 32 is wound around a cumulated body 10 constituted of a plurality of sheet-like articles which are laminated while both ends of the band are sealed for banding the cumulated body. While at least a part of the band including the sealed parts at both the ends of the band is kept in a state of being exposed, a cumulated body gripping part 25 grips the banded sheet group therein, whereby a suction nozzle 55 provided approachable to/separable from the cumulated body holding part is shifted to approach the cumulated body gripping part so that the suction nozzle sucks the exposed part of the band film, and after that, the suction nozzle is shifted to separate from the cumulated body gripping part. If a faulty seal is found, the band film comes together with the suction nozzle, so that a state of negative pressure is retained. If the seal is found to be in a favorable state, the suction nozzle is separated from the band film, so that negative pressure does not exists. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
