PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor capable of minutely distributing a small quantity of fuel, and while capable of providing a sufficiently large quantity, the maximum quantity, of fuel. SOLUTION: At least one auxiliary fuel hole 48 is provided to be opened in an intake passage part 3 on an upstream side of a choke element 5. Since the auxiliary fuel hole is opened in the intake passage part on the upstream side of the choke element, in the case wherein the choke element is closed, negative pressure is not applied to the auxiliary fuel hole, and the fuel is not transported into the intake passage part from the auxiliary fuel hole.
