PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the moving speed of armature of a control valve from becoming unstable due to the effects of bubbles contained in a fuel discharged from a control chamber. SOLUTION: In an armature 54, there is provided an armature portion low pressure flow passage 543 that directs a fuel discharged to a valve chamber 552 to end surfaces on a coil 52 and a stator 53 side in a blade portion 541. In a stator 53, there is provided a solenoid portion low pressure flow passage 531 in which one end is connected to a low pressure portion, and the other end is opened to an armature accommodating space 58, and opening portion on the coil 52 and the stator 53 side in the armature portion low pressure flow passage 543 and an opening portion on the armature accommodating space 58 side in the solenoid portion low pressure flow passage 531 face each other. Thereby, a fuel containing air bubbles pass through the armature portion low pressure flow passage 543 and the solenoid portion low pressure flow passage 531, and are discharged as it is to the outside of a fuel injection valve. That is, the fuel containing air bubbles does not pass through the surrounding of the blade portion 541 of the armature 54. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
