ENGINE SYSTEM WITH REFORMER

Disclosed is an engine system with a reformer, wherein unreformed fuel is reformed by the reformer mounted in a discharge pipe, and the reformed fuel containing hydrogen is supplied to an engine. The engine system with a reformer has a control device which determines a target heat generation beginning period in accordance with a load applied to an engine, the number of rotations of the engine, and the air excess ratio of an air-fuel mixture, and the control device controls the ignition timing of the engine so that a difference between the current heat generation beginning period and the target heat generation beginning period of the engine remains within a predetermined range when the hydrogen generated by the reformer is supplied to the engine.
