PROCESS FOR PRODUCING CONDUCTOR FROM CONDUCTIVE INK

A process for producing a conductor from a conductive ink is provided in which the applied conductive ink can be made to exhibit conductivity in a short period of time. A conductive ink obtained by mixing metal nanoparticles and a dispersant with a solvent is applied to a substrate and dried to vaporize the solvent contained in the conductive ink. Next, the conductive ink is bombarded with an atmospheric-pressure plasma obtained from an oxygen/argon mixed gas. Thus, the dispersant contained in the conductive ink is decomposed and removed, and the metal nanoparticles of the conductive ink are aggregated. Thereafter, the resultant conductive ink is bombarded with an atmospheric-pressure plasma obtained from a hydrogen/argon mixed gas to reduce the metal nanoparticles which were oxidized in the preceding step.
