The container (1) has a base (2), and a closable opening (3) located opposite to the base and a lateral surface (4). A notch (5) is provided at the container and designed in a shape such that the notch is in engagement with a closure of a lint screen of a washing machine and/or drier. The container is formed in cylindrical shape. Width of the notch lies between 9 mm and 11 mm, and depth (T) of the notch lies between 10 mm and 15 mm. A disinfecting, bactericidal, sporicidal, fungicide and/or virucidal preparation is stored in the container.
