The blind has two guiding hollow rails (9) and an end profile (7) that is attached at an end edge (6) of an awning fabric (4). The end profile is coupled with a canvas shaft by a driving device for retraction and extension of the awning fabric. Thread pins (20) are arranged in the respective guiding hollow rail in longitudinal direction. Hollow seams are wound to the thread pins and arranged at side edges of an extended section of the awning fabric for fixing the awning fabric in the guiding hollow rails.
