<p>The present invention relates to a device for passively tracking the movement of the sun, comprising a first expansion member (2) and a second expansion member (3), which are reversibly expandable in accordance with the temperature, and a means for detecting an expansion amplitude differential between the first expansion member (2) and the second expansion member (3) which are capable of moving a member to be moved in accordance with said differential, characterized in that the device includes means for detecting the expansion amplitude of the least expanded expansion member and a first control means capable of moving the member to be moved, said detection means being configured to generate a movement of the first control means in accordance with said amplitude. The present invention can be used in all fields where it is important to track the movement of the sun in terms of the azimuth and/or elevation thereof while taking the environment, such as the ambient temperature, into account.</p> |
