PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a password of an encrypted file attached to electronic mail.

SOLUTION: Electronic mail including the same subject name as a subject name 42 of an electronic mail 40 to which an encrypted file is attached is found. A password candidate is extracted from a text of the found electronic mail. The extracted password candidate is used to decrypt the encrypted file. When succeeded in the decryption, the password candidate used for the successful decryption is determined to be the password.
