PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display panel provided with a structure for preventing a trouble generated by exposure of an electrode from a fringe part of a substrate. SOLUTION: In the information display panel, a display medium is sealed between facing substrates at least either of which is transparent, and a voltage is applied to an electrode provided on the substrate to electrically drive the display medium, and thereby information such as an image is displayed. In the information display panel, a seal part 12 is provided on the outside of an information display screen domain in order to seal a gap space between one substrate and the other substrate, and an electrode 14 to be put into the exposed state between substrate edges from the furthermore outside than the seal part 12 is arranged. The exposure part of the electrode is coated by using an insulative coating agent 15 which is liquid when being arranged, and which is hardened thereafter. The coating agent 15 is preferably the same as a sealing agent 13 for blocking an opening part 12a of the seal part 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
