PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably check light from a light-emitting element with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A controller 1 for a vehicle is provided, which also functions as a display device that lights in accordance with the situation of the vehicle, and has a substrate 4 housed in a casing 6 and a light-emitting element 12 mounted on one end of the substrate 4 housed in the casing 6. The light-emitting element 12 is configured to be controlled to light by a CPU 2. The casing 6 and a molding resin 7 filling the casing 6 are made of a material that can transmit the light of the light-emitting element 12.
