COMMUNICATION METHOD IN A PROFINET COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A communication method in a PROFINET communication system is provided by the present invention. According to the real-time application requirement of services, a preset data transmission cycle is divided into N periods, which include at least two types of High Real Time (HRT) communication period, Low Real Time (LRT) communication period and Non Real Time (NRT) communication period. An Access Point (AP) performs data transmission according to HRT transmission mechanism in the HRT communication period of the data transmission cycle, and performs data transmission according to LRT transmission mechanism in the LRT communication period, and performs data transmission according to NRT transmission mechanism in the NRT communication period. By using the method, the requirement of the coexistence of applications with different real-time requirements can be satisfied in PROFINET communication.
