<p>Disclosed is a projector that projects images onto a projection surface based on an image signal. The projector comprises an image processing unit that divides an image produced using the image signal into multiple image regions and outputs a video signal whereby an image for only one of the multiple image regions, which are switched successively at a prescribed time interval, is projected and image regions other than where the image is projected are masked, and a focusing unit that focuses the image produced using the video signal for the image region wherein the current image is being projected.</p> |
