<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and compositions for systemically or locally administering by implanting a beneficial agent to a subject. <P>SOLUTION: The composition includes a depot gel composition that can be injected into a desired location and can provide controlled release of a beneficial agent over a short duration of time.
