PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service use device by which a user can grasp a usable service correctly. SOLUTION: A RAM stores information indicative of whether or not a registered service is in use. Upon receiving a switching trigger related to the switching of service use, a UPnP control point 150 sends a confirmation message for checking whether or not a service stored as a service not in use is effective to a network.
