PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program guide generating method for controlling a number of devices connected to a home network and generating a program guide to the home network when the program guide identifies a multi-media entity associated with a first home appliance connected to the home network. SOLUTION: The program guide generating method for the home network includes a step for identifying the multi-media entity associated with the first home appliance, a step for generating an HTML page identified through the multi-media entity associated with the first home appliance, and a step for storing the HTML page in a region accessed by the first home appliance when the program guide identifies the multi-media entity associated with the first home appliance connected to the home network.
