PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting an object capable of identifying objects to be detected having roughly the same capacitance values. SOLUTION: The method of detecting the object includes an electrode and an inductor arranged on an object to be detected. Identification of the object to be detected is performed based on a resonance frequency of a serial resonance circuit constituted by the inductor serially arranged between the electrode and a grounding point and a capacitance formed between the inductor and the grounding point.
