PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner with a structure enabling housing of a handle part of a vacuum cleaner body in the vacuum cleaner body, wherein exhaust air from the inside does not blow on user's hands using the handle part. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner is improved in convenience, wherein the exhaust air of an electric blower built in the vacuum cleaner body does not strike the user's hands going along a guide tube part 22 when the handle part 17 is used by the engagement of a handle stopper 20, which is a member composing the handle, and a guide tube part 22 which is composed of a central cover 7.
