A cladding material clamp (A) is provided with a fixed plate (1) which is fixed by being attached to a framework (60) of a building, a horizontal piece (2) which is provided so as to protrude forward at the center of the fixed plate (1), an upper supporting piece (3) which is provided so as to protrude upward from the front end of the horizontal piece (2) and which engages and supports the bottom end of a cladding material (50) to be attached to the upper side, a lower supporting piece (4) which is provided so as to protrude downward from the front end of the horizontal piece (2) and which engages and supports the upper end of another cladding material (50) to be attached to the lower side, and a receiving section (5), at least a portion of which is positioned above the horizontal piece (2), and which receives at least a part of the load of the cladding material (50) attached on the upper side by means of abutting the bottom end thereof. The load of the cladding material (50) on the upper side can be divided between the cladding material (50) on the lower side and the receiving section (5) of the cladding material clamp (A).
