The device has multiple flow openings (26) formed within an upper area (32) and a lower area (34) of a net element (20) and exhibiting different opening widths i.e. mesh sizes of the net element. The opening width of the flow openings within the upper area of the net element is smaller than the opening width of the flow openings within the lower area of the net element. The net element is arranged at a front side of a roof opening (18) of a sun roof and held in driven position by a handle element (28).
