<p>The resistance welding device for spot-welding aluminum- and aluminum-containing component (5, 5'), comprises two arms (1, 2), each of which has a welding electrode surrounded by an electrode shaft (3, 3'), where fee end of the welding electrode carries an electrode cap (4, 4'), and a force sensor (7, 7') for measuring a tractive power. The force sensor is arranged in one of the arms and is connected with a control device in electronic connection. The control device has a data storage- and processing unit. A traction power-set value is stored in the data storage unit. The control device is coupled with an optical and/or acoustic signal generating device. Independent claims are included for: (1) a resistance welding plant with a resistance welding device and a cutting device; (2) a device for determining an electrode cap-contamination degree of electrode cap; and (3) a cleaning process for carrying out an electrode cap-milling process.</p> |
