<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide proper parallax settings of a region where an parallax estimation is impossible, such as an occluded region. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: an image input means to input a plurality of images having parallaxes; a parallax calculation means which sets one image of the plurality of input images as a reference image and calculates the parallax for each pixel of the reference image based on the plurality of the images; an extracting means which extracts regions whose parallaxes can not be calculated with the parallax calculation means; a display control means which displays the regions whose parallaxes can not be calculated by a display means; an input means which makes a user input information about the parallaxes of the regions whose parallaxes can not be calculated; and a parallax setting means which sets the parallaxes of the regions whose parallaxes can not be calculated based on the input information about the parallaxes of the regions whose parallaxes can not be calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
