PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective layer transfer sheet having excellent slidability between a transfer surface of the protective layer transfer sheet and the back surface of the protective layer transfer sheet after thermal transfer and prevented from winding fatness caused by the occurrence of wrinkle, slack or the like in winding in the long-sized winding of the protective layer transfer sheet to be supplied.

SOLUTION: The protective layer transfer sheet 1 formed by laminating a release layer 4 and a protective lay 5 in this order on at least one part of one side surface of a base material sheet 2 having a heat resistant sliding layer 3 on the opposite surface is constituted so that the release layer 4 contains 0.02-0.4 pts. filler having 1-3 μm average particle diameter per 100 pts. solid portion of the release layer 4 except the filler and the thickness of the release layer 4 is 20-80% of the average particle diameter of the filler in a dry state.
