<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a process and a device of manufacturing a flexible bag from a continuous web at high speed which can solve problems that an excessive blocking property is shown in manufacturing the flexible bag using a film. <P>SOLUTION: A method of forming a flexible bag 10 having a resilience behavior is provided. A sheet material 52 in which one portion of the sheet material overlaps the other portion of the sheet material is introduced. A network which can be warped includes a plurality of first regions 64 and a plurality of second regions 66. The first regions 64 are substantially undeformed and the second regions 66 are formed into disengaged pleat elements. The overlapped portions of the sheet material are separated using a disengaging means so that the overlapped portions are disengaged and separated from each other while riding on the disengaging means. The disengaging means is in a form of one of an air knife, a static opening bar, a dynamic opening bar, or a suction means, or any combination thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
