<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a COA (Color-Filter On Array) type liquid crystal display device in which a taper angle of a contact hole is large, and a taper angle of a color overlay part is small, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: When a color filter is formed by photolithography, in the COA type liquid crystal display device and its manufacturing method, either or both the contact hole or/and the color overlay part of the color filter are subjected to half-tone exposure, thereby making the taper angle of the color overlay part smaller than the taper angle of the contact hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
