PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile unit mounting device which calculates the travel distance of a mobile unit with high precision through inexpensive and simple calculations. SOLUTION: The mobile unit mounting device includes: an acceleration sensor 131 for detecting the acceleration of the mobile unit; a threshold storage 191 for storing a condition for discriminating between dynamic acceleration and static acceleration for the detected acceleration; a dynamic acceleration determiner 181 for determining the dynamic acceleration from an output signal output from the acceleration sensor 131 on the basis of the discrimination condition; and a travel distance calculator 183 for calculating the travel distance of the mobile unit on the basis of the determined dynamic acceleration.
