PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker damper for improving productivity of a speaker, and the speaker. SOLUTION: The damper 50 provided in a speaker 1 which includes: a magnetic circuit 10 provided with a yoke 11, a magnet 12 and a pole piece 13; a vibration system 20 provided with a voice coil 21 and a diaphragm 22 connected via a voice coil bobbin 21a; and a frame 60 for holding the magnetic circuit 10, the vibration system 20 and an external connection terminal 30. The speaker 1 is constituted by arranging the voice coil 21 in a magnetic gap 14. A lead part 52 for leading a voice coil lead wire 21b on one surface to the external connection terminal 30 is provided, and routing the voice coil lead wire 21b by forming not in the air inside the frame 60 but on one surface of the lead part 52.
