PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat in which the grip operation portion of a rock operation tool can simply be processed to facilitate the posture-switching operation of the rock operation tool. SOLUTION: This reel seat is disposed with a rock mechanism R for stopping that a movable hood 7 holding a reel leg 3A moves in the direction separated from the reel leg 3A. The rock mechanism R is constituted by providing a receiving tooth 8 mounted on the reel seat body 5A, a rock piece 7D which is engaged with the receiving tooth 8 to stop the movement of the movable hood 7 and is disposed in the movable hood 7, and a rock operation tool 7E for appearing a state that the rock piece 7D is engaged with the receiving tooth 8 or separated from the receiving tooth 8. The rock operation tool 7E is formed in a posture-changeable state for appearing a state engaged with the rock operation tool 7E or a state separated from the rock operation tool, and an anti-slipping rough surface a is formed in the grip operation portion 7e of the rock operation tool 7E.
