The invention relates to a method for displaying the surroundings of a vehicle (5), wherein objects in the surroundings of the vehicle (5) are detected by sensors, and each detected object is described by two coordinate points (11, 13) and a position fuzziness value (15) associated with the respective coordinate point (11, 13), wherein the coordinate points (11, 13) and the position fuzziness values (15) are stored as data in an interface, which can be accessed by driver assistance systems of the vehicle (5). The invention furthermore relates to a method for determining the collision probability of a vehicle (5) with an object, wherein first the surroundings of the vehicle (5) are displaying using said method for displaying the surroundings of a vehicle (5), in a next step a travel path (23) to be passed by the vehicle (5) is determined, and finally the degree of overlap of the object with the travel path (23) and thus the collision probability are determined in consideration of the position fuzziness value (15). |
