The plate heat exchanger has heat transfer plates (1) stacked with each other around 180 degree and mutual contact surfacly connected with each other. Impressions form a flow channel that is provided between the heat transfer plates for a heat transfer medium. The impressions are adjoined with each other in an area, and are closed break through connection canals (20). The connection canals are formed for increasing flow rate and obtaining extensive full faced heat exchange as diffuser (18) and/or duct (19). An aperture is formed between a flow axis and a boundary wall of the diffuser.
