<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method which can easily obtain a printed matter of high definition with a pattern of an image corresponding to an uneven pattern of an image. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording method by which an image and an uneven shape corresponding to the image are recorded on a support P. The image recording method includes a process which forms base layer data being image data of a base layer 101 alternatively placed on the support P using a part of image data of the image, the process which forms the base layer by applying a liquid body where a forming material has been dissolved or dispersed on the support P alternatively based on the base layer data, and a process which forms an image layer 102 contacting with the base layer 101 and the surface of the support P by applying the liquid body on the base layer 101 and the support P based on the image data. In the process for forming the image layer 102, the amount of a liquid body needed for forming the image layer 102 covering the surface of the base layer 101 is controlled based on the surface area of the base layer 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
