<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for power conservation for mobile device displays. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to power consumption for mobile device displays, as disclosed herein. An embodiment of the method includes generating display images for a display screen of a mobile device and shifting the mobile device to a reduced power consumption state.
