PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small mirror having a structure of preventing intrusion of water, oxygen, corrosive gas or the like into an interface between a substrate and a coating layer and having high corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: The small mirror includes: a substrate 2 prepared by dicing into a small piece and having a flat face 21 in one side and a chipping face 24 formed by dicing around the flat face 21; a metallic reflection layer 4 formed on the flat face 21 of the substrate 2; and a coating layer 3 including a protective layer 5 having corrosion resistance formed in the opposite side of the reflection layer 4 to the substrate 2. The coating layer 3 is configured to extend from the peripheral part 23 of the flat face 21 to the chipping face 24 side to cover at least a part of the chipping face 24 of the substrate 2.
