PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine inhibiting contamination of intake components such as an air flow meter and compressor surge when a failure of an LPL (Low Pressure Loop) throttle valve occurs. SOLUTION: When number of times of states that a calculated feedback coefficient is larger than an upper limit value or less than lower limit value is not less than predetermined prescribed number of times, it is considered as a failure of an LPL throttle valve 204, LPL throttle valve opening is set to a default state by stopping control of the LPL throttle valve 204, and control of LPL-EGR is stopped.
