PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsified preparation for skin care which is combined with prednisolone valerate acetate and is excellent in preparation stability and usability. SOLUTION: This oil-in-water emulsified preparation for skin care contains (a) prednisolone valerate acetate, (b) an oil content including polar oils, (c) two or more nonionic and/or ionic surfactants, and (d) polyhydric alcohols having two or more hydroxyl groups in a molecule. The preparation is produced by gradually adding the oil phase including the components (a) and (b) to the polyhydric alcohol phase including the components (c) and (d) to obtain an oil-in-polyhydric alcohol type emulsified formulation, and by gradually adding the formulation into the water phase component including (e) diphenhydramine hydrochloride.
