PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing landing position erroneous detection of an elevator by foreign matter. SOLUTION: This landing position erroneous detection preventive device has an optical sensor storage body 1 arranged in an under surface end part of a car sill 2 of the elevator, having a sensor installing plate 3 of a plurality of stages and arranging an optical sensor 4 on this sensor installing plate 3, and a landing detecting plate 7 arranged in the vicinity of a hoistway wall surface opposed to this optical sensor storage body 1.
