PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rehabilitation apparatus for pets, which takes out a pet from a water tank or takes a pet in a water tank in a state in which a pet height is maintained as it is. SOLUTION: The rehabilitation apparatus is equipped with an opening and closing door 20 for opening approximately the whole area on one side of the water tank 1 of the rehabilitation apparatus for pet to rehabilitate a pet P in the water tank 1. The opening and closing door 20 is opened and closed through hinge parts 21 attached to one end of the door and is equipped with a closing mechanism part R at the other edge part of the opening side. The closing mechanism part R is composed of rotatable cock levers 22 attached to the end edge part of the opening side of the opening and closing door 20, latch arms 22a formed rectangularly to the cock levers 22 and a hook part 23 attached to the opening edge part of the water tank side for engaging the latch arms 22a by rotation operation of the cock levers 22.
