PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate specifying a section of a component having a cause, based on an emerging symptom, so as to solve the problem that an existing implement used for a boundary scan test for measuring input and output of a test signal, using a terminal for debugging of an integrated circuit in order to check the operation of the integrated circuit, can not be used in some cases and consequently specification of the cause of a fault or the like requires time and effort, since reproduction of the symptom and the specification of the cause are to be performed while the component is already mounted, in a quality control of a product. SOLUTION: In this device for inspecting the electronic equipment, symptom specifying information for specifying the symptom as to each specified electronic equipment and cause information for specifying the cause making the symptom emerge are so stored that they are associated with each other, and when information showing the state of the electronic equipment is received, the symptom specifying information and the cause information corresponding thereto are specified and displayed.
