PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method and device capable of simultaneously performing the thermal analysis such as the measurement of a large number of specimens in a non-contact state. SOLUTION: The infrared images of a large number of specimens are observed by an infrared camera 4 while heating a container 2 loaded with the specimens on a hot plate 3. Since the temperature rise of the specimens 1 is delayed as compared with that of the hot plate 3 during the solid state of the specimens but the heat conductivity rapidly rises when the specimens 1 are melted, the surface temperatures of the specimens 1 observed from the infrared images also rapidly rise. By this constitution, even if a large number of the specimens 1 are present, the melting points of them can be calculated at the same time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
