PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability to an axle device and a working efficiency for assembling by cooling brake mechanisms causing heating with a simple structure. SOLUTION: On an upper surface 15A of a lid body 15 forming a casing 13, a heat radiating fin 39 cooling a lubricating oil 38 in the casing 13 by a cooling air flowing in from the front side during traveling, is arranged. In the heat radiating fin 39, fins 40-44 inclined for guiding the cooling air toward each of side fins 45 arranged at positions opposed to the left and right brake mechanisms 33, are formed. Therefore, the heat radiating fin 39 can guide the cooling wind flowing in during traveling toward the side fins 45 cooling the left and right brake mechanisms 33 by the inclined shape of each of the fins 40-44, and can aim at and cool each of the brake mechanisms 33.
