<p>A facility used for both continuous hot-dip coating and continuous annealing is configured so that the facility can be switched between being a continuous hot-dip coated material manufacturing line and being a continuous annealed material manufacturing line, the continuous hot-dip coated material manufacturing line being adapted for dipping a steel band, which has been annealed in an annealing furnace, into a hot-dip coating bath, the continuous annealed material manufacturing line being adapted for guiding the steel band from the inside of the annealing furnace to the outside air outside the furnace while causing the steel band to bypass the hot-dip coating bath. The facility is provided with: a gas discharge path for discharging the atmosphere gas within the annealing furnace to the outside thereof from the gas discharge opening provided on the outlet side of the annealing furnace; and a path opening/closing means for opening and closing the gas discharge path. The path opening/closing means opens the gas discharge path when the facility is used as the continuous hot-dip coated material manufacturing line and closes the gas discharge path when the facility is used as the continuous annealed material manufacturing line.</p> |
