A power conversion system is provided with n sets (n is an integer not less than two) of power conversion devices (P1-P4) that are connected in parallel with respect to a load (4), and communication lines (2) connected to the n sets of power conversion devices (P1-P4). Each of the power conversion devices is comprised of: a communication circuit (10) that transmits a load current value detected by a current sensor (37) to each of the other n-1 sets of power conversion devices via the communication lines (2), and receives n-1 sets of load current values transmitted from the other n-1 sets of power conversion devices via the communication lines (2); and a calculation operation circuit (11) that obtains the current to be allotted to the relevant power conversion device and the cross currents, on the basis of the n-1 sets of load current values. Therefore, the wiring will not get complicated even when the number of power conversion devices increases.
