A method and a test pen for detecting a pathogenic microorganism by cell immunoreaction in response to antigen stimulation. Firstly, Immunocytes having contacted said microorganism in blood are stimulated by the pathogenic microorganism-specific antigen or functional segments thereof. Then, the immunocytes secrete cytokinin, for example, interferon? (IFN-?).Finally, whether said pathogenic microorganism exists in animal is judged by measuring the quantity of IFN-?. In the invention, the pathogenic microorganism at latent or early disease stage can be detected quickly and effectively by measuring the quantity of IFN-? in blood using colloidal gold immunochromatographic method.
