<p>A projector device not causing a video image to shimmer despite the fact that air is discharged from the front face of the device, to which front face a projection lens is provided. A projector device is provided with a housing (1), a light source (11) provided inside the housing (1), a projection lens (13) provided to the front face (1a) of the housing (11) and projecting an image by using light of the light source (11), an air delivery fan (12), and a first air delivery path (21a) for discharging, from the front face of the housing (11), an air flow generated by the air delivery fan (12) and having cooled the light source (11). The light source (11) is contained in the first air delivery path (21a). The device is also provided with a second air delivery path (21b) for discharging the air flow, which is generated by the air delivery fan (12), from a gap between the projection lens (13) and an exit (14a) of the first air delivery path (21a), and also with a louver unit (15) provided to an exit (14) of the first and second air delivery paths and leading an air flow, which is discharged from the exit (14), in the direction away from the projection range of light (16) projected from the projection lens. The second air delivery path (21a) does not contain the light source (11), and as a result, the speed of an air flow (32) discharged from an exit (14b) of the second air delivery path is higher than the speed of an air flow (31) discharged from the first air delivery path (21a).</p> |
