PURPOSE: An inkjet applying apparatus and inkjet head cleaning method of the inkjet applying apparatus are provided to clean plural inkjet heads properly and prevent the waste of spacer particle dispersion liquid. CONSTITUTION: A transparent substrate(1) comprises a red color filter region, a green color filter region, a blue color filter region and a black matrix, wherein the black matrix partitions those regions. Spacer particle dispersion liquid is discharged toward the black matrix and a space region is formed on the discharged region. Spacer particles of the spacer region are deposited onto the transparent substrate through a drying operation. A table(11) supports the transparent substrate, and a gantry(13) supports an inject head unit(12).
